4najuda is an interior refurbishment project for an apartment for rent in Alto de Santo Amaro, Alcântara, Lisbon.

 The proposal aims to:

1- The reorganization of space, avoiding to enter directly into the living room, moving the entrance to a passage space within the kitchen;

2- Increasing the area of the bathroom, providing it with a shower area, washbasin and ventilation + natural light;

3- Maintaining the elements that make up the façade, now in materials with greater thermal efficiency;

4- The correction of light through the saturated coloring of the interior spaces of the house - the kitchen and bathroom;

5- The possibility of altering the spaces through sliding doors in translucent honeycomb polycarbonate, which gives the house a greater diversity of ways of living in it.

6- Underlining the intrinsic quality of natural materials through solid pine wood flooring.

7- The subtlety of chromatic transitions through the choice of a very light grey color for all the living spaces.
